What we collect
From the order form: your email address, the child's first name, and whatever you choose to tell us about them (age, things they love, something good they did, their wish, and who the gift is from). We do not ask for photos, surnames, addresses or birth dates. We also record basic usage of the site, such as which pages were opened and where a visit came from, and a scrambled form of your network address that we use only to limit free previews.
Why we collect it
To write and produce the song and letter, to email you the link to them, to send one reminder if you listened to a preview and did not buy, to take payment, and to understand how the site is used. We do not sell your information and we do not use it to advertise to children.
Who processes it
Your answers are sent to the AI services that write the lyrics and generate the audio, to our email service, and, if you pay, your payment details go directly to our payment provider. These providers process the data on our behalf to deliver the service.
Children
The site is for parents and guardians. Children do not use it, and we collect information about a child only from the adult responsible for them.
How long we keep it
We keep your order so you can come back to the song. Write to support@songfromsanta.com at any time and we will delete your order, the song and the details you gave us.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by writing to support@songfromsanta.com. You can ask not to receive the reminder email the same way.
Questions and messages
If you ask the on-site helper a question, your question is sent to the AI service that answers it and is kept so we can improve our answers. Messages you send us through the Help page are kept so we can reply.
Cookies
We use two small cookies: one remembers how you arrived at the site, and one holds a random number that lets us limit free previews per visitor. We do not use them to follow you on other sites.
